“A real taste of Ireland”
This was a lovely older hotel whose staff were wonderful. They have great meals here and it is just across the road from Blarney Castle. The room was clean and comfortable, perhaps a bit on the cool side even though the heat is controlled in your room. Bath and shower in the bathroom and plenty of space for suitcases. Excellent free Wifi service here. The only downside was there was no elevator but the staff were happy to carry the bags to your room. This hotel is right in the heart of the main part of town. The castle grounds across the road are beautiful even in mid winter and there are lovely walks around town. I loved the town of Blarney and would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to catch a plane home. I should have started the trip there. Very picturesque country town. I was a little worried because it was actually a pub but it really had atmosphere and the locals were friendly.
“Another great visit”
We have been coming to this very welcoming hotel for several years to spend a weekend in this lovely part of Ireland. This is a lively hotel with a very popular pub attached, and also a superb restaurant. You can eat in the pub, or dress up and book a table in the very fine restaurant, but wherever you decide to eat, the food is fab. All members of staff are a credit to the Forrest family, as they can’t do enough for you. We have stayed in many of the rooms over the years and the standard is very high in these spacious rooms. We look forward to our next visit.

“Great local pub with Irish Character and fantastic food”
We were visiting Blarney on our way to Kerry airport and stopped in Blarney for a break.
Looking for somewhere to eat, we asked a local shopkeeper who instantly recommended the Hotel.
We were not disappointed. To begin with we ordered starters and my wife’s chowder was full of meat. My bacon and Brie tartlet was wonderful. So fulling was the Guinness and starters we decided to stay a while and enjoy the local banter rather than any more items from their extensive menu.
I would describe the place as ‘quaint’ and a good old Irish pub with people playing cards and it was obviously a place where the locals meet.
The staff were extremely helpful and service was their objective rather than the money -making for a very pleasant experience.

“Best Food in Ireland!”
I have traveled all over Ireland and go every year. I always like to take the time to come to Blarney Castle Hotel to go to their restaurant. This is the best food! I highly recommend the rib eye steak with pepper sauce. This is, honestly, the best food I have eaten in Ireland. The place is quaint, the staff is friendly, and the pints are cold! I will be back again!

“Gift of the grub!”
They say kissing the Blarney Stone gives you the gift of the gab but next door in the Castle Hotel they have mastered the gift of the grub with outstanding wholesome fare. Ian and the team dish up excellent food and real service. ….oh the Beer is great as well.

“We loved this hotel”
We arrived at Blarney Castle Hotel after a wet drive down from Dublin, and were quickly accommodated in a lovely room. Thanks to the reception staff and also the girls in the cafe. The lunch at the cafe/restaurant hit the spot before we went to visit the castle and “kiss” the Blarney stone. The bar area was atmospheric and the dinner at the restaurant delicious. Large comfortable bed and modern bathroom made for a good stay.

“Look no further!”
Can’t rate this place highly enough – hosts Ian and Una and their wonderful staff made the start of our honeymoon a fabulous one. We still talk about the wonderful breakfasts and fun times in the front bar! My husband and I were married in Blarney in September and stayed at the hotel and had our reception there also. All of our guests were impressed by the charm, cleanliness and quaintness of the hotel and we could not have asked for better handling of our reception. Ear plugs are enough to drown out the little noise that comes up to the rooms from the front bar. We didn’t want to leave! Look no further if you want cosy, comfortable, great customer service and a great night’s sleep!

“Had a wonderful stay at Blarney Castle Hotel”
The Hotel was very clean and the staff was very inviting.
The free Breakfast was grand with a wonderful omlet.
Beds were very comfortable. When my room teapot would not work, they quickly replaced it.
I would highly recommend.
It is across the street from the Blarney Castle.
